A Buyers Guide
We understand how stressful moving can be, so we make every effort to ensure the process of buying your home, goes as smoothly as possible, as quickly as possible and with the minimum of fuss. We primarily offer property for sale in the Newington Green, Islington, Highbury, Stoke Newington, Holloway and Hackney areas.
Decide How Much You Can Afford
The first step in buying a property is to calculate how much you can afford to borrow. Plan your finances carefully to identify a monthly figure you can comfortably manage to repay. Allow for expenses like the deposit you’ll need (at least 10% of the purchase price), the valuation fee, solicitors fees and, not least, the cost of furnishing your new home.
Which Mortgage is Right for You?
There are a number of different types of mortgage and methods of repayment. Talk to a Mortgage Adviser for help on deciding which of the many options best suits your requirements and your financial circumstances.
Register your property requirements
Decide on the area(s) that you’re keen on and the type of property that you’re interested in. Register with us using this site or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone our office on 020 7704 0664 . Alternatively, you can visit us at our Islington office at 97 Newington Green Road, London, N1 4QX. We will keep you informed of new property details by phone or email.
Arrange a viewing?
We will accompany you to see the property(ies) of your choice, at a time that suits you. Properties can go under offer within hours of coming on to the market, so it’s important to bring with you any joint buyers or decision-makers that may need to see the property with you.
Make an Offer
Once you’ve found the house or flat that fits the bill, you can then make an offer to the vendor, through the estate agent handling the sale.
Agreeing a Sale
Once your offer has been accepted, you’ll need to instruct a solicitor and get a mortgage offer in place. Your M&M Property representative will then guide you through the buying process until you exchange contracts and completion takes place.
